Engineering Office Administrator As a member of the Engineering Department, the Engineering Office Administrator will support the entire Engineering Department and will coordinate the department's needs which include presentation development, reports, spreadsheets, document maintenance, drawing filings and control, ordering supplies, and timesheet management.
Essential duties and responsibilities include maintaining a safe working environment and a commitment to safety excellence. Maintains computer based documents such as engineering parts history, cross reference reports and equipment specifications. Maintain Engineering Department forms directory and organizes and maintains print files and reviews drafts for appropriateness and grammatical correctness. You must be able to utilize a variety of software packages including PowerPoint with imbedded Excel and/or graphic requirements.
You will be required to maintain senior management appointment calendar accuracy including changes and all updates. Provide a positive working attitude that projects Synchrony Inc. culture.
A high school diploma is required. A minimum of a two year business or administrative degree is desired.
As a member of the R&D Team, the Software Engineer is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle for products running on Synchrony's embedded and client platforms.

Production Mechanical Engineer As a member of the Production team, this engineer will contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing process technologies, methods and techniques. Lead and coordinate the implementation of product design changes. Maintains integrity of product bills of materials, manufacturing routings, and cost estimates. Resolve problems inhibiting the efficient flow of the production process.
Requirements
Production Electrical Engineer As a member of the Production team, this engineer will ensure that the company's manufacturing processes provide products that are world-class in quality and reliability. Provide technical support to production personnel and assist in the transition from R&D Engineering to Production. Lead and coordinate the implementation of product design changes. Maintains integrity of product bills of materials, manufacturing routings, and cost estimates. Resolve problems inhibiting the efficient flow of the production process, including troubleshooting electrical assemblies and software. Assists in the preparation of new product cost estimates and assists Purchasing in the evaluation and selection of vendors.
Requirements
As a machinist at Synchrony, you will fabricate components used in high-speed rotating products. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You will be making a wide variety of parts in small quantities. You will be responsible for all machining work necessary to take a job from raw material to finished product including final inspection.
Our machinists are highly valued members of our engineering team. You will interact with design engineers to make sure the precision parts we require can be manufactured efficiently with high quality.
Minimum Requirements
As a member of our engineering team you will design, develop, and test prototype products and assist transition to volume production. If you have solid work experience in one of these specialties we would like to talk with you: magnetic bearings, high speed motors and drives, rotordynamics, vibrations, solid modeling, embedded systems, controls, industrial control panel design, power electronics , National Instruments/LabVIEW development, or PCBA design.
