Access your Verizon Visa® Credit Card

The Verizon Visa Card is designed for Verizon Fios Account Owners with at least one active Fios service or Verizon wireless customers who are Account Owners or Account Managers with up to 12 phone lines maximum (depending on plan) on their wireless account. Upon approval, new card holders will receive a Verizon Visa Signature® Card from Synchrony Bank.

Use the card and earn rewards on every purchase, everywhere your Verizon Visa Card is accepted. Buy gas, shop at grocery stores, dine out or order-in and more, and earn Verizon Dollars¹ to redeem toward Verizon purchases or to use toward your monthly Verizon Wireless or Fios bill²

Verizon Fios Account Owners with at least one active Fios service or Verizon wireless customers who are Account Owners or Account Managers with up to 12 phone lines maximum (depending on plan), on their wireless account can apply anytime:

• On our website: Visit our Verizon Visa Card page.
• In the My Verizon app: Tap the menu icon at the top of the screen and choose Verizon Visa Card.
• At checkout on our website or app: Choose the Apply link when you see it during checkout.
• Over the phone with our Customer Service
• In a Verizon store or at select Verizon Authorized Retailers

Verizon Business accounts and Prepaid accounts aren't eligible to apply for the Verizon Visa Card.

If you don’t yet have a Verizon wireless or Verizon Fios account, you can apply for the Verizon Visa Card after you have established yourself as a Fios Account Owner or Verizon wireless Account Owner or Account Manager.

You must be a Verizon Fios Account Owner with at least one active Fios service or Verizon wireless Account Owner or an Account Manager and have up to 12 phone lines maximum (depending on plan) on your wireless account to be eligible to apply for the Verizon Visa Card.

Verizon Business accounts and Prepaid accounts aren’t eligible to apply for the Verizon Visa Card.

Yes, if you're instantly approved at a Verizon operated store or Verizon website, you can use your new Verizon Visa Card right away in the following ways:

• At the time of credit card approval, your new card will be automatically added to your Verizon wireless account as your preferred method of payment for that day's purchase and future purchases at Verizon operated stores or at Verizon online.
• You will be able to select another form of payment on a per-transaction basis at the point of sale
• When making a Verizon purchase, choose Verizon Visa Card as your payment method. You should set your Verizon Visa Card as your preferred payment method in My Verizon on our website or the My Verizon app to make sure you earn 4% in rewards on Verizon purchases (excluding bill payments)³
• If you're also a Verizon Fios customer, you can manually add the credit card to your Fios account as a preferred payment method.

Yes, if you're instantly approved at an exclusive Verizon Authorized Retailer you can use your Verizon Visa Card in the following ways:

• At the time of credit approval, you can use a Temporary Shopping Pass displayed on your device's screen immediately. Or, print your Temporary Shopping Pass from the email sent from Synchrony Bank.

You cannot use your Verizon Visa Card anywhere other than described above until you receive your permanent card from Synchrony Bank, which should arrive in 7-10 days. Please make sure you activate your Verizon Visa Card upon arrival.

When you're approved for the Verizon Visa Card you'll start earning zon rewards on qualifying purchases as part of the Verizon Visa Card Rewards Program.

When you use the Verizon Visa Card just as you would any other credit card, you earn a percentage of the purchase in Verizon Dollars⁴:

• 4% on gas and grocery store purchases and gas or electric vehicle charging purchases
• 4% on dining purchases, including take-out and delivery
• 4% on Verizon purchases (excluding bill payments)³
• 1% on Verizon Wireless Account bill or Verizon Fios Account bill payment
• 1% on all other purchases where Visa credit cards are accepted.
• For example, if you spend $100 at a grocery store using your Verizon Visa Card, you automatically earn 4% in Verizon Dollars. There's no limit on the amount of Verizon Dollars you can earn for purchases⁵.

You can see how many Verizon Dollars you have available, as well as how many you earned on a daily basis, in your digital wallet. You can access your digital wallet through the Verizon Visa Card app and in the Verizon Visa Card dashboard on the My Verizon app or online.

You will see the amount of Verizon Dollars you've earned also posted to your monthly credit card billing statement within 1-2 Verizon Visa Card billing cycles after your purchases are made.

Yes. After your Verizon Visa Card account is opened, you can view transactions, pay your bill, and manage your credit card account through the Synchrony Bank website, Verizon Visa Card app, and the Verizon Visa Card dashboard:

• The Synchrony Bank website - Just register using your card number and billing ZIP code to access your account.

  1. From the Verizon Visa Card website, click the Card Holder log-in button to access the Dashboard. Sign into your account. Once on the dashboard, see your Verizon Dollar rewards balance and usage, manage your account, and more. Click use rewards next to your Verizon Dollars balance to go to the Verizon Dollar redemption page, scroll to the bill pay tile to pay your Verizon bill.
  2. From the My Verizon app, go to the hamburger menu and click Verizon Visa Card. Sign into your account. Once on the dashboard, see your Verizon Dollar rewards balance and usage, manage your account, and more. Click use rewards next to your Verizon Dollars balance. To go to the Verizon Dollar redemption page, scroll to the bill pay tile to pay your Verizon bill.
• The Verizon Visa Card app - You'll get instructions on how to download the app within 20 days of opening your Verizon Visa Card account. You must have your Verizon Visa card in order to complete app sign-up.
  1. From the Overview tab, click View account to go to Synchrony to pay your bill. Log-in to access your credit card account information and pay your bill.

Yes, when you receive and activate your Verizon Visa Card, you can also add it to your mobile wallet (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay).
