When will the transition be?
The transition to Synchrony Pay Later takes place on June 29, 2025.
You can unlock features like payment tracker, AutoPay setup, loan payment alerts and more on this new servicing platform.
Important: During the transition period between June 26 and June 29, customercare.syf.com will be unavailable to manage your loan or make payments including one-time payments processed online, by phone, mail and Autopay. On June 29th, you’ll receive communications on how to set up payments online, by phone or by mail with Pay Later.
For now you’ll continue to manage your account and make payments the way you’re used to.

Yes, once transitioned to Synchrony Pay Later, you’ll use your phone number and last four digits of your Social Security number to login into the Pay Later portal.
- No. At this time, you can't combine your Synchrony installment loan account with your other Synchrony accounts. Please visit customercare.syf.com to manage your account.

If you have question about your online account, billing, or payments, call us at 1-888-568-0186 Monday – Saturday, 8 am – 10 pm ET.
- Yes. You can make payments over the phone by calling us at 1-888-568-0186 Monday – Saturday 8 am – 10 pm ET or with a new Synchrony installment loan online account.
- Not at this time. Please visit customercare.syf.com to access your online account.
- Debit card loan payments can be made online, or over the phone. At this time, we do not accept credit card loan payments. To make an online debit card payment: log in to customercare.syf.com, then select Payment. From here, you can use your debit card to make a one-time payment or set up AutoPay. You can make a debit card payment over the phone by calling us at 1-888-568-0186 Monday – Saturday, 8 am – 10 pm ET

You can set up AutoPay until May 29, 2025 either online or over the phone using a debit card, checking account, savings account or automated clearing house (ACH). After May 29, 2025, you’ll need to wait until after the transition on June 29th to set up Autopay on the new Pay Later servicing platform.
To set up AutoPay online prior to May 29:
Log in to customercare.syf.com, then select Payments, then Schedule AutoPay.
To set up AutoPay over the phone prior to May 29:
Call us at 1-888-568-0186 Monday–Saturday, 8 am– 10 pm ET.
- To make online payments, set up your new online account. Enroll in AutoPay, customize payment alerts, and go paperless.
