Margaret Keane is President and Chief Executive Officer of Synchrony, one of the nation’s premier consumer financial services companies. A member of its Board of Directors, she led the company’s successful initial public offering in July 2014 and split-off from GE in November 2015.
Her passion for emerging technology and employee development has solidified Margaret’s reputation as a leader in the field. She has been recognized as one of American Banker’s “Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance” for 11 consecutive years (#4 in 2017) and one of Fortune’s “Most Powerful Women” for the past three years (#25 in 2017). Fortune also named Margaret to their “Businessperson of the Year” list (#33 in 2016).
During an 18-year career with GE Capital, Margaret led the Retail Card platform as President and CEO beginning in 2004. She expanded her responsibilities in 2011 to become President and CEO of their North American Retail Finance business. Earlier, she held leadership roles that spanned consumer finance, vendor financial services, operations and quality. Margaret also held various leadership roles during 16 years with Citibank, where she began her career.
Margaret serves on the Allstate Corporation Board of Directors. Margaret is also dedicated to giving back to the community and serves on the National Board of Directors and chairs the Development Committee for buildOn, serves as a member of the St. John's University Board of Trustees, serves on the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Connecticut Chapter Board of Trustees and is a Member of the Board of Overseers and a Member of the Patient Care Committee at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Margaret is also the President of the Synchrony Foundation that funds Synchrony's citizenship platform, Families that Work.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from St. John’s University. Margaret is married with two children and currently resides in Connecticut.

Michael Bopp is Executive Vice President, Chief Customer Engagement Officer of Synchrony. He is responsible for leading Synchrony’s Enterprise Customer Experience organization, comprised of both its customer journey and enterprise analytics teams. This organization is chartered with leveraging the latest in data, advanced analytics, and journey design to uncover, develop and integrate customer-centric solutions into Synchrony’s execution platforms.
Prior to joining Synchrony, Michael was President and Chief Operating Officer at Argus Information and Advisory Services, a global data and analytics company focused on the credit card and retail banking segment. At Argus, Michael led products and delivery teams, while also managing all operational functions (Finance, Legal, HR) for the 650+ FTE business. Prior to his role at Argus, Michael did a short stint at TD Ameritrade as their head of Analytics and Database Management. Before taking the role at TDA, Michael worked for 6.5 years in the GE Capital Retail Card Finance Divisions, where he performed various Finance and Analytics roles, including business development pricing, Dual Card Analytics and modeling. When he left GE Capital, he was head of Analytics and Pricing for RCF.
Michael began his career at Citigroup, starting as a programmer in their Cards Division and subsequently leading various analytics teams across Finance and Decision Management.

DJ Casto is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Leader of Synchrony. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer and their organizations consisting of 9,000+ Synchrony employees in 20 locations in the US, India, and the Philippines. He joined Synchrony in 2014 serving as HR Client Leader for the Corporate Governance Functions: Finance, Risk, Credit, Regulatory, Compliance, Legal and Internal Audit, where he helped manage the integration and separation from General Electric.
DJ started his career at PepsiCo and held several roles of increasing responsibility within HR Field Operations. He later became Director of Labor Relations where he led labor and employee relations for the North America Beverages business, a division with over $14B in revenue. In that role, DJ managed all aspects of union awareness strategies and programs. After that, DJ served as Senior Director Global Organization Development responsible for global career development and succession planning.

Brian D. Doubles has been our Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since February 2014. He served as Chief Financial Officer of GE's North American retail finance business since January 2009 and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank since 2009. Brian has a proven track record operating in various economic cycles and has earned a strong reputation for his deep domain expertise and financial and risk discipline.
From July 2008 to January 2009, Brian served as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis of GE's global consumer finance business. From March 2007 to July 2008, Brian led the wind down of GE's U.S. mortgage business (WMC Mortgage) as Chief Financial Officer and subsequently Chief Executive Officer. From May 2006 to March 2007, Brian served as Vice President Financial Planning and Analysis of GE's North American retail finance business. From January 2001 to May 2006, he served in roles of increasing responsibility for GE's internal audit staff. From February 1998 to January 2001, he held various roles as part of a GE management leadership program. Brian was named a GECC Officer in 2009. Brian received a B.S. in Engineering from Michigan State University.

Alberto “Beto” Casellas brings nearly three decades of experience to his role as EVP & Chief Executive Officer for CareCredit. Prior to his current role, Beto served as EVP & Chief Customer Engagement Officer, focusing on accelerating customer engagement and core analytics processes and initiatives across Synchrony. His deep domain expertise, general management experience and proven relationship and project skills were critical to driving increased cardholder and partner engagement. Beto also has held leadership assignments in the Retail Card Client Initiatives Group, Sales, Operations, P&L leadership and e-commerce in various businesses throughout GE, including GE Supply, GE Structured Services and GE Capital Consumer Finance. He has also held global operations assignments in Argentina and Brazil.
He is very involved in the community and is currently the Executive Sponsor of the Synchrony Hispanic Network+. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Domus Kids, a Stamford, CT non-profit organization that helps thousands of our most vulnerable youth in the Stamford area experience success.
Beto graduated from Yale University with a BA in Economics. He currently resides in Weston, CT with his wife and two sons. He enjoys spending time with his family, running, playing golf, reading, and cooking.
EVP, Chief Credit Officer and Capital Management Leader

As the executive vice president, chief credit officer and capital management leader, Henry Greig is responsible for leading key aspects of Synchrony’s first line of defense. His responsibilities include stress testing, capital planning and reserves/loss forecasting. He also leads Synchrony’s credit organization. He most recently served as Synchrony’s chief risk officer.
During his 25 years with GE, he has held various leadership roles in the consumer finance business, including modeling and analysis, risk management, consumer acquisitions and database marketing.
Henry’s deep expertise in consumer finance has been credited for providing stability for the business in a challenging economic climate. In 2009, he was recognized for risk excellence by the chairman and CEO of GE Capital for his contributions to the success of the business.

As the Chief Operating Officer for Synchrony, Kurt Grossheim brings a breadth of leadership experience to the role. His career has spanned both domestic and international consumer lending, as well as leadership roles in operations, business integration, risk management, and business development. His experience includes being a General Manager for one of GE’s credit card portfolios with a few hundred locations. Kurt also has led GE Capital Bank in Austria as CEO, from 2002-2004, and served as Chief Operations Officer of GE Service Bank in Germany. He has served as the Risk Management Leader for Colonial Penn Insurance, and held numerous other positions since joining GE in 1990.

As the Chief Information Officer of Synchrony, Carol drives our overall Information Technology strategy and vision, with a continuous focus on payments innovation. As CIO, Carol leads growth for our company, our clients and customers by delivering innovative solutions, driving the company’s digital transformation, and developing strong technology partnerships.
Prior to Synchrony, Carol served as CIO of GE Capital Retail Finance. In her ten years with GE, Carol held a variety of senior leadership roles, focused on IT Governance, Security, Business Development, Digital and Marketing. Before joining GE, Carol spent nearly a decade in technology consulting at Accenture. She focused on the financial services sector, delivering strategic and complex technology initiatives to drive growth and operational excellence for clients.
Carol is committed to diversity in the workplace and mentoring women in technology, serving as the executive sponsor of Synchrony’s Women’s Network and our Summer Immersion Program for Girls Who Code. She chairs the Technology Working Group and co-chairs the Innovation Steering Committee at Synchrony. Mark Martinelli brings 30 years of financial services experience and deep audit expertise to his role as Chief Audit Executive at Synchrony. He is responsible for strengthening and expanding the Synchrony Internal Audit Function, including Risk, Compliance, Finance, Ops, Technology and Audit Practices, as well as ensuring we remain well positioned as a regulated and publicly traded company.
Mark has a proven track record of leading diverse and challenging functions. In his previous position at HSBC North American Holdings, he held the role of SEVP & Chief Auditor for North American operations, auditing the strategy, reporting and regulation of $400 billion in assets. He joined HSBC in 1999 and held positions of increasing responsibility during his 15-year tenure, including SVP and director of financial planning, CFO and Chief Administration Officer, and President and CEO of HSBC.com. Earlier career positions include roles with Republic National Bank of New York, and KPMG’s Financial Services practice.

Neeraj Mehta is the executive vice president, chief executive officer of Payment Solutions and chief commercial officer of Synchrony. Formerly Neeraj was the EVP, Business Strategy and Development, where he built out a new function for Synchrony overseeing corporate strategy, payment innovation, strategic partnerships, Synchrony Ventures and acquisitions.
Neeraj joined GE in 1996 and held numerous executive roles at GE Capital, including president and CEO of GE Capital, Commercial Distribution Finance, and operating three business units during his 20 years with GE.

As Executive Vice President, Business Strategy and Development, Trish Mosconi is responsible for defining, developing and executing Synchrony’s strategic vision. Trish also leads Synchrony’s merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, network partnerships, and corporate venture arm, Synchrony Ventures. Prior to joining Synchrony in early 2018, Trish had more than two decades of consulting experience in financial services, retail, consumer, high tech, and various manufacturing and service-based industries.
Trish joined Synchrony in early 2018 from BlackRock, where she was Manager Director for the Financial Markets Advisory (FMA) Group and leader of the Strategic Consulting practice. Prior, she was a Partner and Managing Director in the Financial Services practice at the Boston Consulting Group for six years where she directed the team’s growth strategies and led multiple large-scale global business transformation efforts. Trish was also a Partner at McKinsey & Company for 11 years where she held several leadership roles in the Financial Services and Technology & Operations practices.
EVP, General Counsel & Secretary

With 25 years of legal experience, Jon Mothner brings his expertise to the role of General Counsel for Synchrony. He has held the same role for the past five years at GE Capital Retail Finance and for the past three years at Synchrony online banking, and previously served as Chief Litigation Counsel and later the Chief Compliance Officer for GE Consumer Finance. His experience with GE Capital dates back to 2000, when he joined the Consumer Finance business as Litigation Counsel.
Jon earned his strong reputation early in his legal career, serving as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York. He specialized in the investigation and prosecution of financial crimes, including securities fraud, money laundering and bank fraud. In addition, Jon previously worked in the litigation group with a high-profile law firm, and clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Longobardi in the District of Delaware.

As the CEO of Retail Card, Tom Quindlen brings deep leadership experience in corporate finance to the executive leadership team. He previously served as Vice President and CEO of GECC Corporate Finance through 2013, President of GECC Corporate Lending, North America through 2009, and VP and CMO for GECC Commercial Financial Services through 2005. Earlier in his career, he gained global leadership experience as a VP of Sales and Marketing in Tokyo and a Director of Business Development and Marketing in London.
Tom has a proven track record leading companies to achieve growth. In his previous roles, he built strong teams specializing in providing asset-based, cash flow and structured loans and leases to mid-sized companies for working capital, growth and turnarounds. His experience spans multiple retail categories.
Tom is also well recognized for his passion for community service and regularly mentors young talent. He has served as a Corporate Citizenship Leader and campaign Co-Leader for the United Way.
EVP & Chief Marketing Officer

In the role of Chief Marketing Officer, Bart Schaller is focused on innovation and growth for Synchrony and for our partners. Bart is committed to driving new growth strategies, including developing new products, channels and value propositions for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer segments. His commitment is built upon over 25 years of insights working directly with major retailers on strategies to increase sales and expand customer relationships. He has developed and launched many new card and business programs, successfully repositioned value propositions, and integrated programs with retailers’ core market strategies.
Most recently, Bart was SVP, Business Development, where he led new partner program sales activities, M&A opportunities and strategic investments. Prior to this role, Bart was the Vice President and General Manager for the GE Retail Consumer Finance Walmart relationship. In that role he was responsible for the overall growth and performance of the card programs with Walmart. In 2003, he was promoted to Vice President, Marketing for JCPenney Credit Services. Following several progressive roles in Operations, Marketing and Client Development, he joined the Lowe’s Credit Services Team as Marketing leader in 1999.
EVP & Chief Risk Officer

As executive vice president and chief risk officer for Synchrony Financial, Paul Whynott reports directly to the Risk Committees for Synchrony Financial/Synchrony Bank and administratively to the CEO. Paul oversees and has full responsibility for all aspects of the Synchrony Risk function. Paul is responsible for establishing and implementing standards for the identification, management, measurement, monitoring and reporting of risk on an enterprise-wide basis. In collaboration with the CEO and the CFO, he has responsibility for developing an appropriate risk appetite with corresponding limits that aligns with supervisory expectations; this risk appetite statement has been approved by the Synchrony Financial Board of Directors. Paul regularly reports to our Board of Directors and the Risk Committee on risk management and regulatory matters.
Paul’s initial role with Synchrony was chief regulatory officer where his responsibilities included ensuring our business met regulatory expectations, as well as overseeing compliance, supervisory affairs and regulatory strategy.
Before joining Synchrony Financial, Paul held a number of challenging and critical leadership roles at the Federal Reserve Bank New York (FRBNY) over a 21-year period. Most recently, he served as a senior vice president in their Financial Institution Supervision Group, in the role of senior supervising officer responsible for Citigroup. Prior to that role, Paul oversaw the supervision of the U.S. operations for UBS. He has also served as the lead onsite supervisor for JPMorgan Chase and the Bank of New York Mellon at the Federal Reserve.
Paul’s financial experience also includes leading an analytical team focused on monitoring and identifying trends in the capital markets, and producing analysis of these trends for the benefit of senior FRBNY management and supervisory staff.
